I’ve had some real thrifty luck recently. Considering that I’m really only looking for
a few specific target items and not just pretty things I like that saying
something!
Last month my husband and I headed to Old Spittlefields
market to check out Judy’s monthly vintage fair. Just a few minutes after arrival I found this
Rose Ballerina jug. I was giddy with
joy! Does anyone know which company made
this type? I can’t seem to find it
online.
Next up in the distance I spotted some Woods Ware Jasmine trios. We decided to buy 4 sets. Just minutes later we found more Woods Ware
Jasmine. A lot more. We got 6 trios, 6 cake plates and 6 side
plates. I don’t think we would have
bought the first 4 trios if we had come across the bigger lot first, but now we
have backups!
Everything came in this lovely carrying case!
I’m going to link up with Her Library Adventures and Flea Market finds,
Magpie Monday at Me and my Shadow, and
Thrift Share Monday at Apron Thrift Girl.
Oh, lovely!
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely dishes! I really like the sweet little jug, too.
ReplyDeleteSigh! More loveliness. I think the jug has a Johnson Bros mark on it. The crown thingie.

ReplyDeleteThe link shows the back stamps for Johnson Bros. The crown looks the same but it should say "Johnson Bros". So not really sure. It certainly looks like a Johnson Bros piece.

Its tough because Johnson Bros had rosedawn, not rosa ballerina. What a great resource!
